Thanks to our friends at CBS Radio, singer-songwriter Matt Nathanson performed at Super Bowl City on Wednesday, February 3. Nathanson played on The City Stage presented by Levi’s® as a part of the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee’s free concert series.
Super Bowl City presented by Verizon, centered in Justin Herman Plaza on the Embarcadero at the foot of San Francisco’s Market Street, is designed to showcase the best the Bay Area has to offer, with interactive games, and activities that highlight the region’s technological prowess, culinary excellence and cultural diversity. Nathanson is best known for his platinum-selling song “Come On Get Higher,” released in 2007, but he released his first album, “Please” in 1993. He has released 8 additional albums since, and has become increasingly successful over the past 9 years. His albums Some Mad Hope (2007), Modern Love (2011), Last of the Great Pretenders (2013), and Show Me Your Fangs (2015) have all been featured ranking 60 or higher on the United States Billboard Top 200 chart.
