With thousands of visitors expected to arrive in San Francisco for the Big Game, the city has launched major plans to implement a wireless solution that allows fans to capture and share every moment of Game Week. Football fans, complete with their game-day apparel and good-luck charms, will have full access to Super Bowl City.
Similar to how Peyton Manning needs Gary Kubiak and Cam Newton needs Ron Rivera, Extreme Networks and PCM are making sure fans have the proper coaching to achieve all their Wi-Fi & mobile app needs.
As part of this program, we’ll have over 100 certified onsite Wi-Fi Coaches to help fans with basic Wi-Fi connectivity, downloading fan enhancement apps and troubleshooting general device issues. This will be the second year in which Extreme Networks Certified Wi-Fi Coaches’ are involved with Game Week activities, and they will be readily available and equipped to help attendees enjoy this signature experience.
“Throughout this process, we’ve looked to Extreme Networks and PCM to help make this year’s Super Bowl City run efficiently with leading wireless solutions,” said Keith Bruce, CEO and president of the San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl Host Committee. “Their expertise in deploying a reliable network and understanding how to support our temporary ‘city’ is crucial to create a memorable experience for the Bay Area and fans alike.”
